Oh my word, it’s March! I’m that lady in the neighborhood who still hasn’t taken down the Christmas lights… in blog world, that is. It’s beyond time to move on from the gingerbread house blog header. I got to doodling the other night and before I knew it, early dawn was peeking through my office curtains and the only other light in the house was my monitor shining with a brand new blog theme, and my groggy grin glowing blue in it’s reflection. I think Bumble & Bloom turned out uncluttered, happy, and very indicative of my 1st grade level drawing abilities :).
The day following my all-night doodling escapade, I was bleary eyed and freshly inspired. On my way to a maternity session for a friend, I stopped by the thrift store for some prop shopping and found this perfect yellow chair that just so happened to match my new theme. So, in addition to the blog make-over, here we have my capture of “something new” for the bee girl’s photo challenge. A beautiful new mama and a new (old and tattered) chair…
Amberly has been pretty busy as of late with friends, reading, school, and playing a new game called minecraft, so I’m cutting her some slack this time… she’ll hopefully catch up with the next round.
